Special Projects Managers:
Special Projects Managers assist with new office openings, office conversions, and improving established clinics. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of dental experience in both dental assisting and reception and prior management experience (in any industry). Special Projects Managers will travel to multiple locations across the US to oversee operations in existing clinics and help with the openings of new clinics. This position requires a great deal of domestic travel. All reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed. Candidates may be based out of Chicago, Illinois or Massachusetts and relocation to these areas is not provided.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Travel to multiple states to convert offices from film x-ray system to digital system.
• Train staff on computer systems, OHSA standards, HIPPA regulations, etc.
• Serve as a resource to existing managers to improve performance of clinics.
• Hire staff, train, and supervise the work of hourly staff
• See that patient scheduling is done properly; ensure that follow up care is maintained.
• Uncover and correct problem areas in the practice before they become serious.
• Stock and order supplies, and control the expense of inventory.
• Schedule staff so the practice runs smoothly while limiting overtime and nonessential shifts.
• Discipline staff as needed, terminate staff when necessary.
• Make bank deposits.
Dental Office Manager:
The Dental Office manager will provide general supervision to all business aspects of the practice. Candidates must have at least 1 year of prior dental experience, prior management experience. We offer a great compensation package with a base salary plus a monthly bonus potential of $1000. Benefits also include individual medical insurance, free dental care at our clinics, and paid vacation.
Office managers do not run payroll, but they must ensure that all new hire paperwork is complete. Managers must also monitor and regulate employees' attendance and time off.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Hire staff, train, and supervise the work of receptionists and dental assistants.
· Ensure clinic operations are compliant with OHSA standards, HIPPA regulations, etc.
• See that patient scheduling is done properly; ensure that follow up care is maintained.
